Christy Lyon is a writer and editor who lives in Connecticut with her husband and their two very silly boys. She grew up listening to stories of military life from both her grandfathers, who were proud of their service in the navy and air force.

Christy loves to read to her boys before bedtime. She wrote “Good Night” in Military Life: Stories and poems for children to add a prayer for safety and grateful thanksgiving for their day.

Christy's work has appeared in publications as diverse as Camping Magazine, Web_Guide Magazine, WebMD, and NurseWeek Magazine.
